Yamantaka

Daitoku otherwise known as Yamantaka is the destroyer of death. The bodhisattva sought out Yama, the lord of death, to release others from suffering by conquering death itself. Upon meeting the deity, the Bodhisattva transformed into Yamantaka, a mirror of Yama. This reduplication copied every aspect of the lord of death. Then this reflection of Yama multiplied so that in every direction the deity of death turned, he only saw himself. With no one left to die save himself, Yama dies in utter fear. In the death of the self, the lord of death, the endless suffering cycles of birth and death are no more and all this is left is nothing, nibbana, nirvana.
